- 📊 HOW TO USE - STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT:
- Access: Go to Customers page → Find customer → Click "View Statement" button
- Date Range: Select preset (Last 30 days, This Month, etc.) or choose custom dates using calendar picker
- Summary: See total invoiced, total paid, and outstanding balance for the selected period
- Invoice List: View all invoices in date range with status, amounts, and payment details
- Export: Download as PDF, CSV, or send to Google Sheets using the export dropdown
- 📥 HOW TO USE - CSV EXPORT:
- From Statement: Open statement → Click "Export" dropdown → Select "Download CSV"
- File Opens In: Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, or any spreadsheet software
- Data Included: Invoice number, date, due date, status, subtotal, tax, total, amount paid, balance
- Use Cases: Import to accounting software, create custom reports, share with accountant
- 📊 HOW TO USE - GOOGLE SHEETS EXPORT:
- First Time: Click "Export" → "Export to Google Sheets" → Connect Google Drive → Authorize
- After Connected: Click "Export to Google Sheets" → Data automatically creates new spreadsheet
- Spreadsheet Features: Auto-formatted headers, currency formatting, totals row with formulas
- Access: Spreadsheet opens in new tab, also saved to your Google Drive
- Share: Use Google Sheets sharing to collaborate with team or accountant
- 📅 HOW TO USE - DATE RANGE FILTER:
- Quick Presets: Click date button → Select "Last 7 days", "Last 30 days", "This Month", etc.
- Custom Range: Click date button → Click "Custom" → Select start date → Select end date
- Clear Filter: Click "X" button to remove date filter and show all invoices
- Visual Feedback: Selected date range displays in button (e.g., "Jan 1 - Jan 28, 2026")

- ⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Google Sheets: Requires Google Drive connection (one-time setup, stays connected)
- Date Range: Filters by invoice date, not due date or payment date
- Currency: All exports use your configured currency symbol and format
- Statement Scope: Shows invoices only, not orders without invoices
- Historical Data: Statements reflect invoice data at time of generation
- Export Limits: No limit on number of invoices you can export
- Caution: Google Sheets export creates new spreadsheet each time (not updating existing)
- Caution: Ensure Google Drive connection is active before attempting Google Sheets export
